The aim of the change is to strengthen competitiveness, which benefits both Brenderup distributors and Brenderup Group in the Danish market.

The trailermanufacturer Brenderup is restructuring to strengthen its position in the Danish market. In recent years, Brenderup has not developed satisfactorily in Denmark. Therefore the company is now merging its two business units, Trailer and Rentals, with focus to become a more commercial and market-oriented company.

As a part of this process, Brenderup will restructure its manufacturing footprint to reduce the complexity of its business. The assembly operations in Nr Aaby will close down in 2017. All future trailer deliveries will come directly from Brenderup’s own modern factory in Poland. The change will affect around 16 employees. Negotiations with the employee representatives are scheduled to start today and will be finalized most probably within 2-3 weeks.

Spare parts will be supplied from the central warehouse in Sweden. For Brenderup customers this means a shorter value chain and a more efficient supply chain.

The aim of the change is to strengthen competitiveness, which benefits both Brenderup distributors and Brenderup Group in the Danish market. Brenderup’s goal is to continue to have the most satisfied customers in the trailer market.
